Easter Event at Harvest Meadows

We have made some changes to our Easter event this year, which is why this information is getting to you a bit later than usual. Every year, we love the joy of our Easter egg hunt, but we also feel the weight of how much waste can come with this time of year. Eggs filled with candy and tiny trinkets (that most parents don’t actually want more of) often end up in the landfill by the end of the season. We don’t want to let go of the experience, but we want to do it differently.

This year our eggs will be filled with nickels. Children can either choose to keep their nickels or turn them in for a plush toy or kite. We hope this helps reduce the amount of waste and still provides a fun experience for kids.
