Commerce City hosts Colorado’s largest Memorial Day Parade each year, bringing thousands of people from around the region together in our community to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Prior to the parade, the city hosts a Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park.
Join us after the parade for a fun-filled celebration featuring live music, delicious food trucks, and family friendly activities! Kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy a rock
wall, face painting, balloon art, and more.
Our 60th Annual Memorial Day Parade is coming up on Monday, May 25, 2026!

Grand Marshal Nominations
The city is seeking nominations for the 2026 Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshal. The city welcomes nominations of military veterans young and old from any branch of the armed forces, as well as recognition of Gold Star Families to posthumously honor service members who died while serving in a time of conflict.
Nominations must be received by Friday, April 3, 2026. Nominations received after this date will not be considered
