Commerce City women-helping-women by collecting new and gently used purses and filling them with an assortment of hygiene items for those without a home, in transition, or without hope.
A Purses To-Go gift of hygiene items and a purse, are a luxury to a woman on the streets, living in her car or struggling to feed her family. This gift provides these forgotten and sometimes ignored women a moment of dignity and joy. Our goal is to “give” them love.
At a recent get-together this team of women celebrated their achievements of more than 2,000 purses and 25,000 products being distributed throughout the city by various community agencies, food banks and churches.
