Buffalo Highlands is located about 1/2 mile west of the intersection of 96th Avenue and Tower Road in Commerce City. The neighborhood is comprised of single family homes and paired homes (duplex style homes). Construction began in 2018 and is still continuing today. The home builders for this neighborhood are Meritage Homes and Lennar.
The west side of the neighborhood borders the Second Creek open space and looks across the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge to the Rocky Mountains.
The neighborhood is less than 3 miles from a King Soopers superstore and retail shopping center, 10 minutes to Buffalo Run Golf Course and the Bison Ridge Recreation Center, less than 20 minutes away from the Denver International Airport, and about 25 minutes from Downtown Denver.
