The Fronterra Village neighborhood is located just southeast of 104th and Chambers in the Commerce City North community. The neighborhood consists of 1,520 homes, of which 1,142 are single family homes and 378 are townhome style condominiums. Construction began in 2002 and finished in 2018.
There are 3 parks in Fronterra Village, the largest being Fronterra Park, which is an 18.5 acre city park. Open space with miles of walking and biking trails, and meandering Second Creek border the neighborhood on the east side. Fronterra Village is home to Second Creek Elementary and Stuart Middle School.
Fronterra Village is less than 1/4 mile from a King Soopers superstore and a short walk to Walgreens or 7-11. In addition, the neighborhood is 2.5 miles from Buffalo Run Golf Course, 10 minutes to the Bison Ridge Recreation Center, less than a 30-minute drive to downtown Denver and 15 minutes away from the Denver International Airport.
