The Potomac Farms neighborhood is located in the Commerce City North community in the northwest corner of the intersection of 104th Ave and Potomac St. The neighborhood is comprised of 406 single family homes built by Adare Homes, Capital Pacific Homes and Oakwood Homes.
Potomac Farms features a half-acre park with a playground. On the north west border of the community lies a 9.5-acre City park with a playground, sports field, basketball courts, picnic facilities and restrooms. The neighborhood is 1.5 miles from the Bison Ridge Recreation Center, 2 miles to Buffalo Run Golf Course, 5 minutes from a King Soopers super center and 30 minutes from DIA or downtown Denver.
In 2017, the Potomac Farms Metro District assumed all of the responsibilities and services previously provided by the homeowners association. Homeowners within in Potomac Farms no longer pay dues to an HOA, all such services now provided by the District are funded through property taxes paid to the District.
